“I see Art as the result of a persons mind and environment, combined and distorted through various actions and processes. It is through these actions that we develop our selves, our culture, and communicate our ideas, emotions and information. Our goal as artists is to change our environment and improve our quality of life, and the lives of others”.
Aaron Leif Nicholson earned his MFA from the University of Minnesota in 2007. He earned his BFA in Sculpture at the Herron School of Art and Design in 2003. For the last decade he has taught a number of art courses ranging from Art Appreciation to Metal Casting. He has exhibited in the United States, Canada, China, and the United Kingdom. When he isn’t in his studio he’s in his backyard experimenting with Permaculture Design or taking a hike in the woods.
